im worried about my mother's situation, because whenever she gets angry..her eyes become big and she shivers..
is she mentally ill....

I don't think it would be a mental illness. Some times we all check ourselves and do things that make us look funny to avoid exploded, saying things we don't mean, or getting down right pissed off.
Perhaps you should have a talk with her about it, and ask what she is feeling when she looks like that. Might give you a heads up on what not to do to get her that upset.

I don't think those are signs of mental illness honey. She just must get VERY angry and her eyes bulge. I shake when I get mad too, not sure why but I do.

My dog does the same thing when he's taking a sh*t. I don't think he is mentally ill though.
