Most christians, jews, and muslims, believe that what they call 'God' is actually a 'transcendent' person or reality. To transcend literally means 'to go beyond': the person or reality they speak about is 'beyond' our grasp, our language, our understanding. Still, believers do attribute certain features to God, like 'almighty' or 'compassionate' or 'love'. Yet, these attributes should not be taken literally in comparison to our 'worldly' might, compassion, and love, but should be seen in an analogical or metaphorical way.
'Logic' could be seen as such a feature: if believers want to explain how they see and experience God, they might make use of our word 'logic'. Yet, the transcendent character of God implicates that God is actually 'above' logic.

It is beyond our capabilities of thought. It is beyond duality and humans can not think with out having something to contrast with. Good/Bad, etc.
Also it is beyond form so once we give divinity a name, concept or human emotion we are already making mistakes.

Ah but to Err is human.
