O.k so I'm just whining but there is this guy right, my friend was convinced he liked me and I started believing it too, he does stare at me and look away if I catch him, he always smiles and we always seem to catch each others eyes whenever we see each other, now, based on these presumptions I built up the courage to finally ask him out, he smiled and then said he had a girlfriend , then he said sorry politely, I'm confused as to why he was giving me all these signals (if they are signals)but had a girlfriend !

Boys will be boys...
He probably liked you, yes, but probably only from afar. Men likes flirting, even when they're in a relationship. Knowing that his giving of attention and admiration were reciprocated kinda boosted his ego. I guess, let this be a lesson to all ladies. Before we even contemplate on asking a guy out, we need to make sure that he is really and truly available.

Well, from a guy's point of view, sometimes we look at a beautiful woman, and enjoy the raw beauty of her appearance. The way she bends an eyebrow or bites her lip while studying. It could be a million different reasons. The fact is simple, some women capture our attention, and are great to admire from a distance, no matter what their personality. However, one can look through an entire art gallery and not have to touch the painting to fully admire it. Admiration can be mistaken as flirting or liking someone, but I have respect for the guy because he was able to admire your beauty and remain faithful to his girlfriend. More guys need to be like that!

Okay.....Your friend says he likes you...based on what? by what? the stares?attention? eye gazing? c'on...he's just having some fun flirting with you, that's all.....
When a guy's interested in you, they wouldn't wanna waste time doing all that. They would have gotten thier guts asking you out and get you into thier bed in no time!! Okay, okay....not all guys do that....but at least they will have come up to you for your number, right??!
So just chill out.....and if you're up for a challenge, just ask him out yourself! Don't just sit there, go out and make things happen!

well, women are born confused, you don't know what a good guy is when they knock on your door.
you want the guys to take care of you while your sitting on your butts all day long.
this is a new generation, you like a guy to take care of you but you better have something to offer more than just your pretty butts, because that's just not enough for us anymore, maybe for the short term, but not for the long term.

Believe me, they sometimes do these things. There is a possibility that he doesn't really have a gf. There was this guy in my life, with a gf but he would still ask me out. So he's probably testing. And he's definitely into you. Just take your time. )))

the guy may have a crush or 'something' for you. probably thinks you're cute. but he has a girlfriend. doesn't mean anything though . he's just really flirty. so dont flirt back with him if hes already taken. you'll learn the consenquences.

He is just admiring you, physically, that's why he can't stop staring at you. Then he realized that it's not a good idea to entertain his physical atrraction towards you because he already has a girlfriend.

Because men are predators - and they will keep trying - mostly to prove to themselves and the world that they still have what it takes.
Its okay to whine - at least it taught you something...and you'll be more careful in the future.

He probably thought you were very good looking and could not keep his eyes from you. That or he was to shy to admit that he dose not have a GF because he dose not want to look lame.
