If you are in a relationship already then it matters even more. It would be respectful to your partner to always look your best for them. I work out now and will continue whether I'm in a relationship or not. Would you want a man or woman not care about how they look once you are together? That's personal experience.

Yes its matter a lots or you can say its a first option but there are some people those who don't give first option for any relationship.
And there are many relation where this physical attraction have no mean those are mother-son relation, Father-daughter Relation, brother-sister relation, friend relation and so many.

Depends on what kind of relationship.
If you want a sexual relationship with someone of consenting age and they do as well...then the physical part is icing on the cake. Consider that it's MUCH harder to like someone outside of the bedroom than it is in there... If you're interested in someone and aren't sure if they're your 'type'...well, what about thinking about them in the dark? Maybe their attitude will make up for the shortcomings you perceive... Maybe it won't. It's up to the participants to decide this kind of thing. No forum can answer this for you!

Well, it plays a lot in the beginning because it makes you pay attention to the guy/girl. For ugly people it's harder to get a one night stand. They need to have a great personality, or patience and a lot of luck. Pretty people just smile at the target at they already have an arranged date. Of course, on the date they'll need more than a smile.

Alot. If you are not attracted to someone or the other way around there will be problems in the future. It's not the only thing but if someone is not attracted to their partner they will begin to resent them for not creating that spark. And their partner will begin to resent them because they feel unattractive.
