I went to church on Saturday. Not because I believe that the sabbath is on Saturday but because my church offers two services on Saturday as well as four on Sunday. (It's a big church) Besides, when God established the sabbath he said six days will you labor and on the seventh you will rest. Well, they didn't have Sunday through Saturday established at that time, it came a long time later. I also attended two churches on Saturday. My church which is non-denominational and the church that my wife works at which is also non-denominational. The subject at the first was on marriage. The subject at the second church was on deepening the roots of our faith Colossians 2:6-12.
And no, I don't sleep through church, it's too exciting and I might miss something important. Why play church if you're only going to sleep through it? Sounds rather ludicrous. And if you are sleeping through church you better find one that is too exciting to sleep through.
"It is not for the healthy that I have come, it is for the sick."

I won't lie to you. I used to go frequently. Now I don't. I pray to God everyday. There are scriptures that say "don't forsake the fellowship of the saints", that is for many reasons and I do know and believe that it is so you can get prayer along with other things (Mainly to be of service to others), being that is one of the major things said to be of Christians. However, I do watch some on TV, (Joel Osteen). He spoke of different things, I know one of the things was about thanking God, no matter where you are in life. Giving thanks to God for all the blessings that he has bestowed upon you. He also talked about appreciating your spouse (husband or wife). Yes I fell asleep on it a little, but I did catch the majority of it. He's in Houston Texas, I am in Chicago. But what I heard was what I needed. I thank God for that!!!
