Even as young as you are, I doubt anyone is going to make a big deal about 1 year difference in age. Her parents are probably relieved she doesn't feel the need to date older men who are in college. There is absolutely nothing wrong with dating someone that close to your own age. It's also very smart you two have decided to postpone sex. You sound like smart kids, & I bet your parents are proud. If she gets too affectionate for comfort, just let her know you think things are moving too fast. However, depending upon HOW she is grabbing you (hugging vs. fondling), it may or may not be too big of a thing. Just maintain honest, open communication, & let her know when things are getting a little out of hand. If you're nice about it, she'll probably handle it well. If you have any further concerns, perhaps discuss this with your mom or dad. I'm sure they can give you some beneficial advice about the subject.

Great time to start dating, right to date someone only one year away from you at your age. Great job on both not being ready for sex, take your time, there is plenty of other things you can do without going all the way. If you see her for a couple of years and want to have sex, use protection and you might want to check on the age of consent laws in your state. Have fun!

You never say what you think. What are your motives.
No, being interested in a person of the opposite sex is not wrong.
You have done some thinking that is commendable in which you have decided to abstain from intimate relations.. You are doing good there. Your maturity level clearly warrants that to be a good decision.
Have fun, grow up. Stay safe.

i think it's normal at your age to feel this way. but if you guys are not ready to have sex yet don't let her grab you because you might become tempted to do it. it's always better when you wait and are both ready for such an important thing like having sex. and a year is not a big difference. I am 19 and my boyfriend is 28.

i agree with iamhemansen, that age gap doesnt matter later on, in fact it shouldnt really matter now if u'r on more or less the same maturity level. about loving her, i personally believe that u cant differentiate what love is at that age.

about her starting to grab on you, well if u'v agreed not to hav sex any time soon dont tempt it, cos trust me a lil touching could cause many things to happen, which u both might not be able to/want to stop.

You are at a wonderful age to experience the thrills of life. Did you know that girls are more mature then boys? So actually you are probably perfect in age. You want to hear a real age gap? My boyfriend and I are 17 years apart me being the youngest. I will always be the young lady in his world I think it is great! Like your girlfriend, I like more mature men anyways.

There is nothing wrong. In 10 years from now a 1 year difference is no difference at all.

You seem like a nice guy. You aren't too old for her. A year of difference isn't much, don't worry! ^^
And I think it's awesome that you two decided not to have sex anytime soon.
I don't see anything wrong with what you two are doing. :)

Just hold on to eachother. Don't let go of that. If you can make it last, it will be worth more in the longrun.
