ya...and whats wrong with this...me & my guy are also best friends before anything else...we know each other inside out & paying the bills is not at all a problem, we know about our pockets pretty well...we dont even decide it...sometimes i pay & sometimes him...& when we dont have enough we both go dutch :-)
so its really ok...

yes most definitly, it's the day of equality. Women can't expect a guy just to pick up the bill at the end of the night, unless he wants to - but it's always nice to offer to pay your share n he will probably appreciate that, you will find most guys will tell you to put away your money n spoil you even more.

yes of course, equallity works best when noone feels like they owe anyone anything, unless of cos they want to, that's giving and taking all gracfully part of a relationship, the art of loving is through communication, thus going dutch will be part of that too. ;)

Yup, unless you're out on a special date. it's a sign of independence and equality from the woman's side... you want 50-50 in a relationship, then money's a part of the deal

I think so. My boyfriend and I either split it or one pays this and then the other person picks up the next one. Neither of us have much money so we just work together to be able to go out and have fun.
