Some times we, the people, think that we are the greatest being on the Earth, most powerful, but don't see how we destroy our beautiful and lovely planet. On this way we kill ourself. Because if our planet is not exist then where are we go. I don't know if I'm right but I think that we have to think about our nature until it is not late

Yes, but we can, and are, learning from our mistakes. If humans were exchanged for elephants or beaver, for example, the earth would be stripped of every tree, bush and shrub. Then the elephants and beaver would die of hunger, not realizing that they caused their own deaths. We are the most dangerous, but we are the most intelligent and the only ones capable of changing our direction.

The answer is a resounding YES. People are also the most destructive. Look around our planet and see what the human race is doing to destroy it. It is a shame that human beings do have the intelligence to take care of our planet; but it seems that most people think about making money, having fun, or fighting, and are not even interested in what is happening to our beautiful world. People need to wake up! I hope this helps.

We are by far the most dangerous animals of the Earth. We are the only ones who actively participate in murder to such a large degree. Other animals may kill each other but not in the form that humans do. We are the ones who try to change our environment to adapt to us instead of us adapting to our environment. We are the ones who are constantly changing our environment by wiping out species at a rapid rate and changing the face of out planet. No other species can do the damage that we can do. If it weren't for humans we wouldn't have the problems with the environment that we do. If we continue on the path that we are, we face a slippery slope of destruction that we can't recover from.

Yes. We destroy trees and floral life, pollute the clear waters, creat toxic waste, pollute the air with chemicals, and kill animals for their meat, fur and tusks etc. And we make unbiodegradable materials like plastic. Dumping areas are using up a lot of land.

yes. all living things cause a change in their environment, pine trees cause the soil below them to be too acidic. ants do the same thing. but it is not concious destruction. we, on the other hand, are knowingly destroying our environment. not only that but we kill each other for no reason. animals kill for food, territory, and mating rights. we kill each other for differences in ideas. we are the only creatures who derive pleasure from cruelty and torture. there are no phsychotic ducks, no serial killer rabbits, no pedophile grasshoppers.
