It's almost as sensible a question as How can we let people be gay or lesbian! Why, if EVERYBODY was gay or lesbian, there would be no procreation and the human race would die out! Oh my gosh we'd better pass that amendment banning gay marriage right now! I mean, since our country doesn't have anything else to worry about, right at the moment...

Papadon: Er, I was hoping you'd take note of the dripping SARCASM of the question, but apparently you've missed it. Of course the premise isn't realistic; that's the POINT. I'm TRYING to make note of the STUPIDITY of the homophobic arguement that "if everybody was gay, humanity would die out" because, obviously, everybody is not gay.

WE don't let everyone become ministers, etc... God calls us to become a Servant of God. Just as God calls us to steel workers, farmers, or plumbers, we are called to use our talents for the betterment of mankind. Just as banning gay marriage will not stop people from being gay, banning religious vocations will not stop people from wanting to be a Servant of God. The premise of your question is not realistic.

all aren't called to be pastors, ministers or what ever God places different callings on each persons life. The same is true for farmers or what ever someones occupation is.

Homosexuality is unnatural. If people were meant to be homosexual, why are there even two sexes?
Ministers, priests and pastors are spiritual leaders. There aren't many of them around lately, if you bother to notice.
