There are many religions in the world. They do not all teach the same thing. In fact, many of them contradict each other. So, they can't all be true and it cannot be said that each is a different path to God. What are we to say about all those other religions compared to Christianity? To get to the point, all other religions besides Christianity are false.
If Jesus is who He said He was, God in flesh, then whatever He says is authoritative and true. He said that He was the way the truth in the life and that nobody comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). Right there,we see that any other way, according to Jesus, is not true.
Christianity bases its truth and its doctrine on the word of God, the Bible. In the word of God, Jesus claims to be the only way. Since He performed many miracles, raised people from the dead, commanded a storm to be still and it obeyed, healed diseases, and rose from the dead Himself, then we are forced to face the reality of His words. Is what He said true or not? Either Jesus is a liar, a lunatic, or He is Lord. No one else in history, except Jesus, has fulfilled detailed prophecies, performed many miracles before eyewitnesses, and risen from the dead. Jesus is unique.
For those of us who are Christians, we have trusted what Christ has said. We believe in what He said and did. Like it or not, Jesus is the one who said He was the only way. It is not the Christians who are being "narrow-minded." It is Jesus. Therefore, to say that other religions can be true means that Jesus is false. To say that there are other ways to God, also means that Jesus is false. This is what it comes down to. Either Jesus is who He said He was and what He said is true, or He is false. This is a choice you must make. To trust what He said or reject His words.

I'm not a religious person at all, if I could be an atheist I would but I've had experiences that my rational mind can't explain so I am open to the idea that God exists.
I don't believe there is a true religion, however Buddhism resonates with me and my beliefs.

I am a Christian.
My belief in God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Bible comes not from being told but from life and my own research.
I was blessed to be raised in a family of mixed beliefs. My father is an agnostic who leans more towards Native American religion and beliefs. My mother however is a devout Christian.
I learned from both of them and from reading my Bible, looking at nature, science, history, my life, my parents lives, the lives of my friends, and many other things.
Through expieriences and witnessing events I came to believe deeply and whole heartedly in God and the Bible.
Some will say I'm ignorant. Some will say I'm stupid. I know what I believe and I know that others will disagree with my beliefs.

Well i am a Muslim because the truth is in islam how?
Who creates the first man? Allah
Why he creates us?For worship
What would he give us in return?Heaven
In islam it is said to respect everybody whether an elder or a child never hurt anybody take care of animals etc.The basic of islam are first Kalma ,Namaz,Fast,Zakat and pilgrimage Kalma is the basic of Islam it tells about that Allah is the greatest of all and we should worship him.Its right when he creates us all there would be a purpose behind this means to worship second is namaz in namaz we have to do ablution ''wozo'' that keeps our body clean and when our body is clean would diseases touch us.A research shows that muslims are less mental other than non muslims why?afterwards that scientist got to know that because of ablution when muslims do ablution they turn thier hands around the neck so there is a tiny vein which is linked with brain when it is exercised five times a day so our brain reamains okay.Namaz is a exercise up and down so doing exercise five times a day so isnt it helpful.3 is fast it helps our digestive system to relax and work properly. 4 is zakat its for poor and needy people we give a little money to poor and needy people so they could live a happy life so isnt it good?5 one is pilgimage its not necessary if people have so much money then they go otherwise no restriction we people go to Kaba to make Allah happy. If you look closely to islam so Allah select his worship in a way that its benefical to us.If you dont believe so go to a doctor if exercise ,cleanliness is not good and helping poor is bad.I would request everybody to read Quran or islamic book ones if you think its wrong so go back to your religion. We believe that Allah is the one he has no family no relatives.Tell me that if Allah hs sons and relatives so isnt it unfair for us.Unfair if Allah has sons so why he make me his son it is unfair and in the eyes of Allah everybody is same.No one is his son and he has no realatives ,he is one and we are his creaters. In Islam everything is truth thats why i believe in Islam

Atheistic agnostic.
I am an agnostic because I believe that it is impossible to know anything with absolute certainty. This is because it is impossible to know everything...and it would be necessary to know everything, to know for sure that the thing that you thought was true, was not contradicted by some other bit of knowledge.
I am atheistic, because I think it daft to believe in god (at least the god of most popular definitions).
Read "The Origin of Consciousnes in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind" to get some insight into the changing function of the brain over the last 5 thousand years, so as to see how belief in god and religion came to be.
Further, if god exists, it does not mean that god is perfect, or is worthy of respect.
God may have more power than you (if it existed), but that does not automatically make it worthy your eternal obedience.
Further, if god wants us to believe in him, wouldn't it be most logical for god to plant the knowledge of her that she wants us to know right into our minds, in perfect form, before we are even born?
Doesn't it strike you as odd that humans have to produce the supposed word of god? Why does god risk having her word misinterpreted/obscured by using the faulty human mind as a conduit?
Is it because god wants us to get confused?
Is it because god doesn't have any more sense than this?
Is if because god doens't have the power to make Bibles, or Qurans, or Toras, or the Book of Mormon, etc.?
Or is it more likely that it isn't god that is trying to convince us of things, but rather it is people?
Until I see Bible, Qurans, etc growing from the ground, etc, I will be sure that it is humans that are producing them and writing them, not god.
Again I ask, why would god not just place the perfect knowledge of her right into our brains, instead of going through humans printing presses, etc.?
Victor L:
you are mistaken. Note that the life expectancy has gone way up in the last hundred years, during (interestingly) the greatest expansion of scientific based knowledge that the world has yet known. Do you believe that the curing of polio, etc. would have happened without science during the last hundred years. Superstitious belief systems distract the human mind from finding real answers to problems. Thus, religions cause people harm by preventing them from making more progress.

I'm a Christian. An Orthodox Christian.
Why? That is a complicated question indeed.
Accurately describing God is impossible. He is greater than anything you've ever known, he is more powerful than anything you can imagine. He possesses infinite love. He is the paragon of justice.
God helped me greatly throughout my life and he still does. He is there for you whenever you're in need of aid, of comforting.
As Jesus said: 'Blessed are those who have not seen, but believe'.

Atheist.
I do not believe in Jehovah for the same reason that no one believes in Zeus, Odin, or Ra. These are clearly mythological characters which were used to explain things that, at the time, seemed unexplainable. I fail to see how the Christian god is any different.

not one of the above. even though that's foreigners of many sorts who study having automobile crashes in countless techniques, commonly related to 2 separate autos pushed via foreigners inflicting some sufferers automobile to crash into one among them. they have connections with scientific medical doctors who're commonly linked to the scheme, could be chiropractors too. Play the GRIEVOUSLY INJURED sufferer, and sue for the max $$$. They understand the coverage technique and courts thoroughly. there is no person united states to blame for this, many immigrants connect this rip-off. at times they attempt ameliorations related to different than motor vehicle coverage, together with escalator tragedy in a huge keep. i do no longer think of they have a undeniable faith. in all threat NO faith, no ethics the two. No experience of right and incorrect. playing the sufferer card is in all threat for non-sufferers. yet at times criminals extremely do victimize non secular communities. A church, synagogue or mosque could be burned or defaced. in this occasion there are actual sufferers, consequently no card is being performed if a criticism is voiced. finally, if a sufferer is ineffective via homicide, they are in a place to rarely play a card, confident? some circumstances of that, regrettably. for all types you listed...

lets say theres a 50 50 chance of there being a god. if you dont believe and your wrong, you go to hell. if you do believe and your wrong, its not like you wont live life to the fullest anyways. studies have show people with religion live longer happier lives overall. true fro most situations. if you dont believe and your right, nothing happens. but if you do believe and your right, you most likely will have a better life plus go to heaven
