depends on the guy and depends on the girl, some girls look fantastic with short hair, I had short hair for almost 10 years and never had a problem getting a boyfriend, some girls just look better with short hair. I would say that probably men prefer long hair as it looks more feminine and they don't want their g/f to look like a man, but if it suits the girl and the man fancies the girl then it should not be an issue

Most of the guys prefer girl with long hair. Long hair girl looks more lady like and it is also showing that they are 100% girl. Short hair is good for some girls but long hair girl has a better view in guys' eyes.
Some guys who has short hair girlfriend will feel that they are dating a tomboy, it is worst if the short hair girl talk roughly and no walk like a boy too.
Pretty girl with the sweet looking facing or charming face does not make her ugly with her short hair. If they have a pretty face and soft spoken, short hair will not make them 'not pretty'.

It depends on the overall impression if I prefer the short or the long hair. I like my girlfriend with long hair, the singer of the Cranberries, for example, looks better with short hair.

Yes. We prefer longer hair because it shows that a woman is healthy and is not loosing her hair through some kind or disease or genetic defect. One of our survival instincts left over from the cave days.

i personally prefer long well kept hair...short hair usually make s girls look like dikes..especially spikes and mullets lol
