I would like to know what happens when you get punched out cold.i have had operations where there is no dreaming.i have never passed out from bozze or drugs.i just wanted to know about a good ole fashioned knock out?do you dream,can you hear but not open your eyes?

When I got knocked out I was completely unconscious. Getting knocked out is not a good thing. At minimum you get a brain concussion!
Passing out from booze or drugs is not a good thing either! Alcohol is, among other things, a poison, and every drink you take kills (that's killed as in DEAD) alot of brain cells and they don't grow back. Evidently the brain has enough brain cells that most people can lose a few, from having a couple of drinks now and then, that it doesn't appear to hurt them. When I used to work in a hospital, I watched, over 2 years and 6 or 7 admissions, a very attractive woman go from being very intelligent, very articulate, well read and educated become completely confused from all the brain cells that she killed by drinking. She became so confused that she couldn't return home. She had to be placed in a nursing home! She was an alcoholic, but the brain doesn't care why the person drinks, only how much. I grew to like this woman very much and we would talk about the eventual confusion she might get from from her excessive alcohol use. Her deterioration was very sad and hard for me to watch.
Drugs are so harm full I don't even feel the need to talk about them.
I know that you are curious about things and I don't know about you, but, I need every single brain cell I have and I don't need to satisfy my curiosity about how it feels to hit the ground after jumping off of a 300 foot cliff!
