While I don't agree that that is a good idea, I do think that it should be against the law to use religion to hurt others. Religion should truly be separate from politics and should not dictate any laws or political issues.

I'm not sure if you are an American or not. But My country was built on the belief that people could believe in whatever God or non-god they wanted to. Freedom of Religion and speech! Therefore Adolf you can not abolish anyone and God has done nothing wrong so he can't be put on trial.
I hear people say that we have to prove there is a God. How about you people prove there isn't.
O and Good luck with that.

Put God on trial <-----correct spelling by the way...And just how ya gonna do that? Have Him arrested and brought up on charges? Book'em Danno! Yeah...and whose gonna be sittin' on the Judges bench? You? Who cannot spell. The created cannot manipulate the Creator and the Creator chooses mercifully to allow you the freedom of choice in this life to decide for whom you want to live...yourself or Him. However you decide is fine..that is your choice..why then since no one can force a choice on you..should you be so arrogant to believe that you could presume to have that right or attitude toward others...As a Christian I can share the Gospel with you and give you the whole slammin' deal about God, Hell, Heaven and death and all that and if it doesn't jell with you and you think the Bible and other faith systems as well are foolish and dubious...then go your own way as you are. Truth is though, your hatred has been called out and silenced with The Word of God. You are a clanging bell and will make no difference to anyone in this life...yet, a believer reaching out to another lost soul has only that persons best interests at heart and what are you? A scoffer...tearing people down. I pray you recieve Christ so that your heart and mind will be open to the awesome power of God and all He has done to preserve mankind! God bless you. Love in Christ, ~J~ <><

If the questions and answers in the religious section make you uncomfortable,DON'T GO THERE! No one is forcing you to read anything in that section
86% of Americans believe in God. Therefore I have a very hard time understanding why there is such a problem in having "In God We Trust" on our money and having "God" in the Pledge of Allegiance. Or having a discussion about God on this website. Why don't we just tell the other 14% to Shut Up and BE QUIET!!!
I believe I read in the Bible something to the effect that when two or more are gathered in His name...........
You do not have the right to change our country's history or heritage. This country was founded on the belief in one true God. And yet, you are given the freedom to believe in any religion, any faith, or no faith at all; with no fear of persecution. The phrase IN GOD WE TRUST is part of our heritage and history and if you are uncomfortable with it, TOUGH!!!!
I think it's about time common sense is allowed to flourish.
Sensible people of the United States speak out because if you don't, insensible people will.

I am neither a believer or a non-believer, I'm spiritual. But you're forgetting one thing; regardless, we do need religion to keep a lot of people straightened out, you don't want more crazies and homicidal maniacs running around more than what are running around right now. What you're proposing will guarantee that without a semi moral-religious hold on those that need it. Always carefully measure the impact of what you're thinking or people will end up regretting such a wish.

i think religion is good in most ways. For those who need some hope- it provides somewhere to turn.. but if it is used as a crutch too much that is when it can become almost brainwashing and bad.
I do not find a need for it myself.. but I can understand how others find happiness in some "beautiful fantasy worlds" of the afterlife. As religions are all based on fears of the afterlife.

PUT GOD ON TRIAL? Who's going to be the judge? That ought to be interesting.
Then what's next? Ban all differences? No more men or women. No more different names or clothing or hair styles. We should all be the same, believe the same? Is this Communist China?Russia? Good luck because no matter what you do Christians, true Christians will follow Christ until their death.
Love in Christ!

Even if there was a way to disprove all religion, gods, and all that crap, Religious people would deny it and say its the work of the devil. Religious people wont change their idiotic beliefs no matter how much their are proved wrong.

HOW 'bout we ban U from breathing the air - cause that's something we all need - just like some of us need religion...
You should actually get banned from this site! (That's how I feel!)
Now, if we were to ban all religion - just because that is the way you feel - I can ban you from eating, or sleeping (something that you need??)
