What is the meaning of life? The question itself contains a word that is a misnomer. The word "life" should actually read "death" since this existence that we all like to call "life" is really "death." We all reside in the world of the dead, in "Hades" or "Hell," if you will. And of course, the dead know nothing, hence the reason we're continually asking "What is the meaning of life?" Since we're also inquiring of the dead, we get no sure replies.
Those receiving the gift of life and resurrected will no longer have to ask "What is the meaning of life?" Being alive, they also have knowledge and the answer to the question before it's even asked.

The purpose of your life is far greater than your own personal fulfillment, your peace of mind, or even your happiness. It's far greater than your family, your career, or even your wildest dreams and ambitions. If you want to know why you were placed on this planet, you must begin with God. You were born by His purpose and for His purpose.
To discover the purpose you were created for, you only have two options. Your first option is SPECULATION. This is where most people are. They just guess or speculate or theorise about the purpose of life. When someone says, "I've always thought the purpose of life is....," they're really saying, "This is the best guess I can come up with."
Fortunately, there is a better alternative to speculation about the meaning and purpose of life. The easiest way to discover the purpose of an invention is to ask the Creator to explain it. The same method works for discovering your life's purpose. You can find what God, your Creator, has revealed about life in the Word, the Bible. Revelation beats speculation any day.
You can discover your identity and purpose through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Second,, God was thinking of you long before you ever thought about Him. His purpose for your life predates your conception. he planned it before you existed, without your input! You may choose your career, your spouse, your hobbies, and many other parts of your life, but you don't get to choose your purpose.
Third, the purpose of your life fits into a much larger, cosmic purpose that God has designed for eterntiy.

I do not feel that that is a valid question. People will simply make up answers that pertain to their life. I do not see why life must have some sort of meaning.
Live the life you have. No one can ask anymore than that from you.

Life can be made meaningful if you really wanted to live. Discovering your own self is the best motive. You have an inner personality much more valuable that anything else in this world, even the whole world. No need of any religion for that. Think freely - you will have response from him soon.

That is a purely subjective and personal question since each individual will have their own definition on the meaning of life. Since I am a musician, my meaning of life is being able to express myself through my instrument and bring forth the four emotions that music can evoke; happiness, sadness, mysteriousness, and the mystical.

I have heard it said Life is a bowl of cherries, but I seem to just get the pits. The great philosopher Forest Gump said it was like a box of chocolates. Well, why are mine always melted?
The meaning of life is this: Run Forest Run.

The meaning of life is death. For we are just passing through here. But life is so short compared to eternity. We live to die, but it is where go after here that decides our meaning of life.
For short, the meaning of life is God.
