I went through a horrible experience with my mother who was apparently possesed by some kind of entity that invaded her body after having participated in a "spiritualist" ceremony (related to Santeria). Her voice and behavior changed completely over the course of a week and no one knew what was going on. My father suspected that it may have had something to do with the idols that our family use to keep in the house and he smashed every single one of them. She returned to normal shortly afterwards. This was no joke and my mother is a very serious woman who doesn't play stupid games. "Spiritualism" and "Santeria" is serious stuff and probably pretty dangerous.

Yes they do. Most of the answers are correct. Having dealt with my share of them I know for sure. The quote from James is just one referees. Use a good bible with a concordance and you can find not only do they exist but they actively destroy the lives of those that worship them and ignore them.

yes they do they are fallen angels see revalation it talks about a third of the stars falling from the sky and one of the gospels talks about demon possesions
