I've been washing my hair every day for god knows how long now (I'm 22) and my hair is not damaged from it.

If your hair is like mine and gets greasy every day then just rinsing it under hot water is not an option, it needs to be washed. I just use a good conditioner on the ends and when I can, I leave it to dry natuarally. But ususally its blowdryed every day too. Plus I get highlights done and to be honest my hair is in excellent condition!

I use TresEmmé clarifying shampoo and the conditioner for dry hair.

Don't worry about it. As long as you are gentle with your hair, washing it will not damage it.

Wash your hair daily as you do now. Use a creme rinse three times weekly. Then once a week use a deep conditioning by leaving the creme rinse on and placing a plastic bag on your head and blast it with the blow dryer long enough to heat up. Let cool for twenty or so minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water.

whilst the roots start to look oily use a high quality boar-bristle brush to comb the oil out of your scalp all the way down to the ends of your hair, then use the toddler powder (as stated above) basically on the muse section, and brush it via, too. I desire the cornstarch powder over the talc powder. in case you circumstance your hair, circumstance in basic terms the roots. Rinse the conditioner out below cool water. I extremely have additionally got here across that spraying a sprint hairspray on the roots can help preclude an oily look. It style of dulls the strands and removes some shine. in case you have oily pores and skin to boot, sometime you will discover that's a blessing. As i'm now in my 40's, i've got got here across that my oily pores and skin helps to sidestep most of the strains and wrinkles i'm seeing on friends with drier pores and skin.

*shampooing* daily can dry out your hair. If you need to wash it daily, just run it under warm water with no shampoo and condition it every day.

Try a hot oil treatment, too. I thelps prevent your hair from drying out.

washing your hair daily with a hydrating shampoo and conditioner won't damage/spoil your hair. ideally, you should use a shampoo and conditioner that does not contain parabens (chemical preservatives) because parabens tend to dry out hair. also, if possible, let your hair air dry instead of blow drying it.
