Evidence from near death experiences suggests that there is indeed life after death. Although I don't believe we can ever know for sure until we actually die.

I guess the only way to really find out after die! But I believe that yes after your body is dead your spirit heads for a different life, if u believe in heaven and hell, then thats it!

the thing that's troubling is, if our spirits do live another life, how will we know coz our brains will be dead! It's complicated but just in case, go along with faith's decree so u can garantuee heaven!

there's no "life" after death, cuz death is the end of life, what there really is is a spiritual shift, from one "dimension" to another
ok maybe that sounds kinda crazy....but who knows?

I think God said it quite clearly in the beginning, as to where people go after they die. " Ashes to ashes, dust to dust." So basically we go back to the earth. As for an immortal soul, that is just a marketing device of the middle ages. It allowed them to control people by taking their money and promising them eternal bliss or eternal damnation. Just think about why things live. We are all connected (every living thing) to the holy spirit, which is kinda like your local PG&E. Once you die, that energy leaves you, and you become like a tv set without electricity. That energy doesn't return to the PG&E in the form of a ghostly t.v set though, just like us, our energy is just God's electricity. God does however say that all that have died, rightous and unrightous will be ressurected. But here on earth, like originally planned. you didn't see Jesus ressurecting people in heaven right? Just my thoughts. Logical and bible based opinion.

Have you died? Do you think anyone in Yahoo answers have ever died? If no, then why do you think anyone will know the answer to this question? If yes, what kind of alternate universe do you live in?

No one can answer this question with cold hard facts. And an answer without facts cannot be considered an answer at all.
