Much better things than anyone who believed in religion.

Complete nothingness is a blessing.

I enjoyed & agree with BECKY's comment.
If you would like to know more about what the Bible itself
-- not man-made religions --
indicates regarding death & afterlife,
you are more than welcome to consider:

You must have noticed how many & varied the ideas of so many religions are, & not only on this subject. Even most which Claim-to-Follow the Bible's teachings! But ...

If several mechanics told you that your car could float, but the manufacturer Explicitly stated that it was a land vehicle -- not aquatic at all -- who would you listen too? Would you load your family or friends into it, & attempt to sail into the wild blue yonder? Would you even plan for such a trip?

Considering what God's word says about death ...
In principle, would that be any different than believing man-made religion over God?
Can you -- realistically or fairly -- try or judge God's Truth for Man-made lies, beliefs, or actions? I get the impression that you may be doing so ... I hope you won't sell God short. He has wonderfully satisfying plans for all willing to participate in His purposes:

I am a Seventh Day Adventist (basically Christian and Jewish but with a little twist) and I believe that after the end of the world has come, Jesus will take everybody who is still alive and believe in God up to Heaven. Next he would take the people who are already dead up to Heaven. Then he will set the Devil loose on Earth and let him destroy the planet and everybody else who is left (people who do not believe in God). Then the Earth will explode, killing all the people who did not believe and the Devil, and finally Heaven will become the new Earth and all the people who believed in God will live there happily FOR EVER!!

But that's just what I believe. Everybody has their own prediction of what will happen when the world comes to an end, and if there is a Heaven bla bla blaa.. But this is what I think will happen.

The bible does not say believe in religion. John 17:3; This is life eternal to know thee, the only true God and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.

All get to be there to see what happens to those that did believe and those that did not. Heb.9:27; It is appointed unto man one to die and after this the judgement.
1Cor.15:22; As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
Acts 24:15; there will be a resurrection of the just and the unjust. John 5:26-29; Dan,12:2;

If there is a God, and if He has a plan, then you're a part of it whether you believe or not. And if He has eternal life and we were created in His image, then I'd say we inherit eternal life as well. Why would He go to all this trouble to make an earth and put us on it if there was no reason?

Don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to being with my family, continuing to learn and grow, and discovering new things after I leave this body. Sure beats the thought of not existing and rotting away in a grave. What a waste of life if we all end that way!

Basically the same thing that happens to those who do believe in Religion. Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust. The point is to believe in God not religions. For all will be ressurected, the rightous and unrightous. Hell is just the biggest marketing scam on the planet! How can Christians believe that a God of Love would do that to his children? The idea of hell, actually insults what Jesus did. It states that he is not powerful enough to save anybody. His sacrifice upon the stake would be for nothing. And besides, death is ULTIMATE PAYMENT FOR SIN!!!! You pay in full when you die, you don't keep on owing! God isn't a bank for goodness sake.

If you die before you get a chance to know and serve God, Nothing happens you are just dead. You died in ingnorance. But all those in memorial tombs will come out when they hear Jesus call. And then you will be given a chance to serve and obey. If you don't choose his father's way (God) way you will be destroyed. It's in your bible, just read it. All of us will not go to Heaven because there will be a new earth. Somebody has to live on it. Hell is nothing more than the grave and it will be emptied. Only those who are anointed will serve with Jesus in heaven. That can not be all of us. I know Iam not going to Heaven. I have a earthly hope. The bible says he will separate the sheeps from the Goats. Even those still alive at the time and did not know God will have a chance to know him. I f you are just pure evil oh well.

Your body will start rotting away naturally. Anyway, why do people believe in an afterlife? Haven't they had enough fun living? Or is it just a thinly disguised fear of dying? Convincing yourself not to fear death because of an afterlife - smart, but still only a mere excuse. The "spirit" that most people think they have is just the mind, which dies away together with the neurons in the brain. Don't be a coward. Accept death as it is.

Why do you have to believe in a religion for there to be some type of afterlife? These things are best left alone. Obviously we are not supposed to know the answer or we would have found it out by now, don't you think? I'm not worried about it.

you go to hell. It's that simple. Just because you don't believe there isn't an afterlife, doesn't mean that there isn't one. It's like Christopher Columbus, he believed that there was more to the world than England, but his critics didn't. Just because his critics didn't believe there was more to the world doesn't mean there isn't more. You have to believe in Jesus and that he came to earth as God's son and died on the cross for your sins. It's that simple, believe in Jesus and ask him to come into your heart and you will be saved and live eternity in Heaven. Speak with a pastor, counselor or someone that you trust that is a Christian.
