First off, there are many different dialects in of Chinese so I am going to first tell you the numbers cause that is what Chinese depend on if they both can't understand each other because of dialect, numbers never change in Chinese so-
é¶-----(Ling)0
ä¸-----(Yi) 1
äº-----(Er) 2
ä¸-----(San) 3
å-----(SSi) 4
äº-----(Wu) 5
å
-----(Liu) 6
ä¸-----(Qi) 7
å
«-----(Ba) 8
ä¹-----(Jiu) 9
å-----(Shi) 10
Then for 11 all you do is put Yi (1) after Shi (10), then 12 is Er (2) after Shi (10). Then for 20, 30, anything up until 90 divisible by 10, you add a number IN FRONT of Shi (10) this time, so 20 is Er (2) in front of Shi (10), 30 is San (3) in front of Shi (10). For a number like 21 You do Ershi (20) then add Yi-Jiu (1-9) after it, so Ershi (20) you put Wu (5) and it makes ErshiWu (25). Now that you know how to count all the way up to 99, you can't accomplish 100 without that number. So-
ä¸ç¾-----(Yi Bai) One hundered.
Add Bai (ç¾)(Hundred) to the end of 1-9 and you have hundreds! Hope this helped

Ni hao literally means you good. Ni hao ma means you good? Either is acceptable. The tones are important.
Ni is said in a raising tone, like a question. Hao is a dipthong. First it drops, then it raises, so it is a longer sound. It sounds like how? Ni sounds like Knee? Ma has no tone. It is very short.
