Sony fd97 Mavica still digital camera - not working, error reads "Format error". How do I fix this?

Sounds like you should Format the memory card.

Perhaps a format error occurred when you had it in the computer, or if you used the computer to delete some pics.

The best way to get the card clean is to use the Format function in the camera. Save any pics on the card to computer first, because the Format process will erase all pics on the card.
