What is the starting rate for a student truck driver?

Depends on the company I hear that some will even pay while you are taking CDL classes from them. Once you have a CDL you should be able to get at least 30 cents/mile with quick raises after that.

I don't think you get paid as a student driver. But after you graduate trucking school, I believe (and it has been 5 years since I checked it out now) the going rate was about .21 cents a mile.
