I feel your pain - I went through a phase where I didn't eat much for like a year, and totally messed up my metabolism. I have been getting it back on track (and lost a few pounds, too) with eating regularly, doing weight training (this adds muscle, mass, which uses more calories every day than fat does), taking a green tea supplement, and doing cardio. It takes a while to get back on track, but I feel myself having more energy.
By the way, congratulations for working through an eating disorder - I know it is hard, and I admire your strength. You can get over this, too!! Best of luck!

Burn the fat feed the muscle is the way i have been doing it and it somewhat works large! you want to characteristic in extra workouts that contain your shoulders. they are the second one greatest muscle team and they are in many circumstances neglected. The extra lean muscle you've, the better your resting metabolism will be. you'll also opt to eat 3 time-honored sized nutrients, and eat a healthful snack between each and every meal. Your metabolism spikes whenever you eat, yet dips down afterwards so ingesting snacks between nutrients may help save your metabolic cost larger for the time of the day. you'll also opt to soak up extra protein, to assist feed the muscle mass, and it helps promote fat loss. desire this helps!

Metabolism slows down naturally with age. How old are you? Maybe you're just getting older and just plain losing it. If you want to get back to the way you were, go find a time machine, put a few coins in the slot, select the date and time you want to go back to, and, voila, problem solved!
Tell us how it goes!
