if my father was in the miltary when he was younger for a couple of years am i able as is child 2 go 2 collgege free

You cannot,

Early in the history of the GI bill The unused portion of a parents GI Fund could be used for the wife or siblings. However this has not been an option for some time. also the GI bill expires 10 years after being discharged. So if your parent has been out of the military for more then 10 years, chances are even they will not qualify for assistance. so the answer is no.. Your college education will not be free, unless you enlisted yourself.

Yes there are scholarships out there for you. Your guidance counselor should be able to help you apply.

no. you might be eligible for scholarships that may help PAY for college. You have to apply for them. Talk with your school advisor.
