You can make up to 11 characters in the same realm, but watch out for the restrictions about factions; because it is not allowed to make horde and alliance characters in the same PvP realm.
The good thing is that you can have as many characters as you want and they are FREE, so no additional charges are made to your monthly fee.
I think there is no limit on how many realms you can have a character in so make as many as you want.

Yes, of course, you may have as many characters on World Of Warcraft as you want. you are allowed up to 11 chars on one server and u can use as many servers as you want. ( I suggest the DoomHammer realm)
