"What's the right weight for my height?" is one of the most common questions girls and guys have. It seems like a simple question. But, for teens, it's not always an easy one to answer. Why not? People have different body types, so there's no single number that's the right weight for everyone. Even among people who are the same height and age, some are more muscular or more developed than others. That's because not all teens have the same body type or develop at the same time.
It is possible to find out if you are in a healthy weight range for your height, though - it just takes a little effort. Click on the following link to discover how it works.

Average weight, height, et cetera, et cetera. Does this person play sports, complete a lot of physical afternoon tasks, or do they sit on their duff in front of a TV or computer?
Average is the same as saying "normal." There is no such thing, unless you know what their level of physical activity is, their food intake, types of food, genetic makeup, nationality, culture, .....etc.
In China, someone that tall would still probably only weigh enough to keep her from blowing away. In Russia, that body type could be very large bones, heavier hips, etc.

You should not be worried about your weight at 13 or anything about your apperance. Your a kid, get away from this stupid computer and run around outside and you'll be the weight you should be. You should also stay away from dangerous fast foods but enjoy your ice cream and SOME sweets while your still a kid. It won't last long.

Depends on how muscular you are. When I was 13 I was considered ideal weight. I was 5'8'' and 132.
