Has anyone else heard a rumour that Romanov is to make an offer to the deeply in debt SRU for Murrayfield. The deal would allow them to rent the facilities they already have there but for Hearts to take over the rest of the stadium and associated land.

In response to Mike B every club who finds success will get 'new' fans. Thats the way it is all over the world and it is human nature to be associated with success. As for him not having the money, I don't think any of us have enough knowledge of his finances to make that statement. He is a businessman and I'm sure that he has considered this idea for the future if it doesn't feature in any immediate plans.

I went to see Hearts play Schalke 04 at Murrayfield. Good stadium with good access but the atmosphere was not good. You would want to see if the stadium could be made more 'Fitba Friendly'. On the whole it sounds like a great use of resources.

I hadn't heard the rumour but if it's true then it would be the most ridiculous thing I've heard about Hearts so far! Could you imagine Hearts playing their league matches at Murrayfield? I went to the UEFA cup games held there and it was the most atmosphere devoid set of games I've ever seen. 25,000 fans trying to make a noise in that ground is like trying to illuminate the pitch with a couple of pocket torches! If Hearts could get 60,000 through the gates it would be a different story. Best thing to do would be to try the buy out of Hibs again and dissolve the club. Their fans might not switch to Hearts but it would be so good to see Easter Road demolished :)

Straight away....thats crap..the SRU would first not sell it to someone like Romanov, he doesn't even had enough money to buy it, hes a small minded person who clearly doesn't know anything about football if he sacks George Burley, i am a Killie fan, and i find it pathetic that there are new Hearts "fans"... i defy people i know who dont support Hearts because they have money...yet they still couldnt win the league lol
