Not if you are a true vodka connoisseur. I like it cold right from the freezer. No mixer or anything to taint the flavor. Makes the best vodka martini.
I have dabbled with a cheaper popov of smirnoff by adding lemon peels or sliced vanilla bean to add flavor to the inferior vodka brands.

Grey goose is my personal favorite. It makes a better martini, IMHO, as well as a better Bloody Mary.
I've tried the more expensive Belvedere's, and I wasn't impressed. More cost doesn't equal better flavor.
However, the different flavor of Belvedere's may appeal to other people, and my personal choice may not be the same as yours. Remarkably, I find Smirnov to be acceptable, as well as Stolichnya, and Sky just doesn't do it for me at all.
Bottom line, I say Grey Goose is the best, but until you try it yourself, you'll never know how it compares.
I also reccommend finding a bloody mary mix to use, to help make sure your drinks are the same, if you want to compare vodkas.
A martini is also going to depend on the vermouth used to flavor it, so that also will depend, and change the flavor.

Belvedere
Level One
Chopin
but everyone has their own particular favorite and i like grey goose. However, the three listed above are a bit more expensive and harder to find.

how can somebody call vodka a grey goose?
drink it russian i would say, and if you can't chill it in the snow, put it in the freezer.
Stolichnaya or Moskovskaya from the Kristal factory are among the best.

IMHO, Stoly and Belvedere are both better in a martini than Grey Goose.

Your question is one of opinion, as the subject is taste. I personally prefer Ketel One to Grey Goose, alot of people don't think it's the best.

I prefer Ciroc
it is from france, 5 times distilled, made from grapes, and extremely smooth....
Chopin is good too.... it is less sweet than grey goose..... more of a "nutty" flavor...
