Is America really that lazy? I mean, a ton of Japanese kids are video game fiends too, what's up with us?

America's not lazy, it's just some of the people in it. If people are happy sitting at home playing video games, watching tv's, and eating and that makes them happy, then let it be. Some people are happy exercising, eating right, and staying fit and thats what makes them happy. Japanese people are so skinny cause of the food and diet they are on. They can game all day and not gain a pound. People should be happy if they are bigger or smaller. But please dont say America, cause its not everyone.

As a skinny Asian who moved to America, I'll have to admit I'm on the lazy side. Americans become fat b/c of portions and diet. Laziness yes but not the main factor. My father's friend lost 50lbs b/c of portion change after a year in Europe/India. Of course there are healthy people who are very active too! I don't play video games that much so....

America is a selfish and self-indulgent country. Then again, so is the world. I think that there are variety of eating problems and self-esteem problems that cause obesity, but for the most part people are just lazy.

American is the nation of fast and processed foods. Also Americans spend a lot of free time eating and drinking alcohol. It would make anyone fat. American is fastly becoming famous for it's obese people.

i dont really think its about tha video games entirely. think about all those addictiong junk food snacks, like chips and soda and especally fast food. i mean, i love chips i would rather have that then candy but it goes both ways. mostly its the food we eat i mean you can eat pretty healthy and be addicted to video games and not be fat. so ya it goes both ways

But i am also on the south beach diet plan
And i lost 12lbs. in just 6 months.

a proven study has shown that austria (not austalia) has the highest percent of overweight kids. i think its hilarious, considering that everyone thinks we r the fattest.
