Are you referring to Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA)? If yes, here are the details:

CLA comes in two isomers, the 9,11 isomer which appears responsible for improving muscle growth and the 10,12 isomer which primarily prevents lipogenesis (storage of fat in adipose tissue). Most supplements sold in stores contain a 50/50 mix of both isomers.

Various antioxidant and antitumor properties have been attributed to CLA, and studies on mice and rats show promising results, however it is suspected that sufficient concentrations to achieve anti-inflammatory effects within human tissues may not be attainable via oral consumption.

Many studies on CLA in humans show a tendency for reduced body fat, particularly abdominal fat, changes in serum total lipids and decreased whole body glucose uptake. Dietary CLA supplementation does not seem to have any adverse effects. The maximum reduction in body fat mass was achieved with a 3.4 g daily dose.

Are you referring to Copyright Licensing Agency, the organisation that co-ordinates the collection of dues from licensed photocopying etc.

I think it does!

Here are some details for your reference:

What is CLA
==========
The Copyright Licensing Agency Ltd. (CLA) is the UK's Reproduction Rights Organisation and a member of the International Federation of Reproduction Rights Organisations (IFRRO).

Formed in 1982, it is a non-profit making company owned by its members, the Authors' Licensing and Collecting Society (ALCS) and the Publishers Licensing Society(PLS), to encourage and promote respect for copyright.

What CLA does
============
CLA is responsible for looking after the interests of rights owners over the copying of books, journals, magazines and periodicals.

CLA licenses business, education and government to copy extracts from books, journals, magazines and periodicals. CLA's licences also include artistic works through its agency agreement with the Design and Artists Copyright Society (DACS).

CLA pays artists, authors and publishers (via ALCS, DACS and PLS) their shares of the fees for such copying. If necessary, CLA can also institute legal proceedings for the enforcement of the rights entrusted to it.

Does Cla Really Work

Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) is somewhat controversial. There's some data that seems to indicate possible benefits, but in my opinion it is too early to tell. Some claim that it works better when combined with Omega 3s. The good news is if you like lamb and you get a grass fed version of it, it is loaded with CLA. Kobe beef and American Kobe beef seems to be loaded with CLA as well.

When creating cookies, bake half the batch and scoop the remaining into ice-cube trays. When your current sweet tooth kicks in, pop out one and bake it to meet up with your craving without breaking the calorie bank.

Salt causes bloating and butter is full of calories, so flavor pasta, cereal, meat, and stews with refreshing herbs, garlic, and onions alternatively.
