God is a Loving and inclusive God who loves all...but the real question should be "do we love all"? The ones who proclaim to know God has to lighten up and not make those who we say do not know God to be afraid of getting to know him. I read were a preacher said that "we [meaning church folk] have painted God to be this mean monstrous spiritual person". God "IS" an Inclusive God it's only the world we live in who has chosen to include who they feel fit in their little [religious] clicks and this worldly uninclusive love is what makes sinners run away from God and church folk. "God's love is deep" deeper then our earthly minds can ever grasp or even begin to understand. So now you know God Love YOU..So rise up, confess your faults to God, pray for strength to live a life that is pleasing to God [not man] and spread this same Godly love around the world and don't be ashamed of loving like God. "It only matters what God cares about you not man".

People paint God as a monstrous God to justify their failures and disappointments in their lives..........

I think they paint him out to be a monster because of the things in this world. How would you feel if you lost someone and was told it was "God's Will"? I know that as a kid, I hated him for taking away my father. I also hate him for letting his followers continue to use his 'word' as a way to bring suffering down upon others. If he is so powerful, why isn't he stopping all of this?

Perceptions are as varied as people are varied. I'm glad you try to tell everyone that God loves all of his children, and I sure hope it'll reach someone out there who needs it, but many will disregard this.

He isn't a monstrous God, but a kind, loving, and forgiving God. But you should fear him above anything. That also includes the Devil. It's in the Bible somewhere but I don't feel like looking for it right now.

If one can make God into an unjust and monsterous character or simply nullify Him into nonexistence---this clears the way for them to justify their hedenistic lives and continue with the way they prefer to live without the thought or care about the judgement of their behavior at all--It gives them justification for living as crazily as they want without thought of any answering for it

Eternal Torture, Original Sin. He's going to destroy the Earth, right? And then Judge and Torture the Sinners. It's an evil death cult intent upon global conquest.

I think nonchristians hear what they want to hear. look at the postings on here. there must be a thousand times where christians say that God love everyone, yet what do they think of him? They don't want to know God they want God to serve them. Anything less and they call it hateful.
