I need to strip ALOT. And yes I am VERY much aware of wire strippers, these dont work very well for such a larg job. Using a utility knife takes forever. I was only wondering if anyone had rigged up something that does this job fast and easyer than these ways. .... Oh, and burning it is out also. No good for the environment.

I don't know if you are aware that there are wire strippers that you can buy at the hardware store for taking insulation off from wires or not, but to my knowledge that's the easiest, although tedious way, of doing it.

have u tried running a razor blade down it then peeling it apart that's if your trying to take it all off, if your just trying to take a little off like to insert it in a outlet to install it just cut it around the wire & pull it off or just go buy a wire striper.

burn it off,If you live where you can build a ground fire, put the wire in the fire and burn the rubber coating off of it.Don't leave it on there to long it will melt the copper.
