Your diet is okay. You lack protein. I would suggest adding more lean proteins to this diet. Tuna, salmon, boneless skinless, chicken breast cutlets. For dinner, steam some broccoli, along with your tv dinner, and perhaps make fish, or chicken in place of a lean cuisine sometimes. Instead of an apple everyday, try a handful of dry, unsalted almonds. Your meals, and snacks are spaced appropriately, but the meal consumed is too small. Therefore, add a can of tuna with your mid afternoon snack, or a brown rice rice cake.

It sounds good, but I would make the following changes, if you want to lose weight and get maximum nutrients:
Instead of hot tea, 8oz of 100% fruit juice. A different one everyday.
Skim milk with the oatmeal. If you use the Quaker Oatmeal in the paper can, use their heart friendly option (more fiber).
Do a different fruit, with the skin, every day.
Instead of the 2 slices of bread, do a wrap (whole wheat tortilla). Instead of lettuce, try spinach (iron and Vitamin A). Add some black beans for more fiber.
Also, instead of the carrot, add a small salad with a lot of colors and powdered seasonings instead of dressing.
Take a multi vitamin.

~It would never work for me. I have a job and I can't loaf in bed until 9:00. Even if I didn't have a job, I couldn't go to bed at 10:00 and get up 11 hours later. Here's a thought. Get off your lazy butt, get a life and do some exercise. And with all the time you seem to have on your hands, lean cuisine? Learn to cook.

Nope....In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if you found yourself lethargic, cranky, and the same weight......
You need real food and fat in your diet.....what your proposing would pretty much tell your body to hoard its reserve because you are not going to replenish the fat, protein, etc. that your body needs to function.
Your metabolism will slow way down, and you won't have the energy or will power to exercise or even get off the couch..
You need to eat.....just remember, if you didn't buy it on the exterior walls of the grocery store....don't eat it....
Women should eat fish (salmon/swordfish) and avocado (good fat)......

You need more liquid and a bit of protien with your breakfast. Otherwise it looks good, if you're trying to take off weight in a hurry. Just remember to leave yourself a bit of wiggle room with your meals so you won't get tired of eating the same things all the time. :-)

For an adult, yes. I would, however suggest the following:
Add fruit to your oatmeal.
for 5pm snack, increase serving size of 'carrot', this is not a whole serving. also, drink lots of water, esp. w/ it being summer, water intake should be increased.

It doesn't seem very much for a healthy life. How about adding an egg to your breakfast. Contrary to popular belief eggs LOWER cholesterol and are good for you
