First of all I am very religious.
Now as for Athiests.
They do not believe in God in any way. They ussually follow scientology. Since Science hasn't proven God they don't either. They also look at parts of History. For example supposedly Greek Gods were fake. Something made up to control thier people. They believe our God is the same thing.
But the bad news is there are people of all religions that are actually Athiests. They just follow thier religion, because they are afraid of what others would say if they said they do not believe. (especially parents).
Yes, I know this happens in the Athiest religion also, but not as much.
See most Athiests don't see religion as making anybody evil; However most religious people see being Athiest is a very evil thing.
What sounds worse
Oh you are Athiest; you are going to Hell
or
Oh you are Christian; you are brainwashed.
Brainwashed does not say you are evil does it?

As a hardcore Christian, don't you have access to a dictionary?
Atheist is a person who believes there is no God.
The majority of Christians don't go to church or pray (therefore worship) God.
These people are called non-practising Christians.

I'm an atheist and God is just like the tooth fairy to me. It's a joke.
I really dont believe in god at all. It's totally fake.
Watch the answers. There are some Christians on here pretending to be atheist for the sake of trying to make us look bad

I'm a Catholic but it doesn't mean I have to go to church every Sunday and attend a one-hour service that speaks about a bunch of words from a book. I quit praying to Saints, God, Jesus, etc. around the time that I was confirmed back in High School. My life just stopped around that time and all my prayers were never answered. I kept going to church because my parents forced me to, I stopped going as soon as my father died back in 2002. I think he was the most spiritual man I've ever met, but I just couldn't understand that if God existed why would he do so much damage in a short period of time. The year before I had Cancer, the same year my father died my mother got Cancer, a year later one of my Uncles got Cancer and nearly died, all my friends went to Iraq and died.
It's just been one big disaster right after the next. A couple years ago I decided to pray to God just one last time and see if he was listening by showing any sign, no matter how small that it can't be seen. He answered me by giving me Cancer for the second time. Therefore, that's it I stopped believing.
I've turned a different direction in my life. Now it's going to school because I want to receive an education. I stopped asking girls out because let's face there's only so much rejection one person can take. I've stopped talking to relatives who don't care where I'm at in life. As for God >> if you exist "You better Hope I never die because I will kick your @ss." It's just like I tell people who have never suffered the effects of Cancer, "You don't tell me what it's all about unless you've been there and actually seen and gone through the physical trauma of having Cancer." God may have created this world and the people on it but unless he's gone through what I've gone through, May he burn in hell for eternity or wait until I die so that I can hunt him down and torture the hell out of him.
Am I an atheist, agnostic or a pissed off man who's just waiting to show all of you the truth, >> There can't possibly be a GOD.

tia_juan_4_ever? Just curious, who was bashing athiests? Also, to say; "screw that part of the bible" is the same as saying "screw the word of God"--- Do you just call yourself a Christian, or do you even understand what it means?
"Christians like you" ???? Whats that supposed to mean? As to this question here, it wasnt even evangelistical in any way? I dont understand where you see this person shoving ANYTHING down anyones throat here!
It seems odd to me that you say you are a Christian, but you are more offended than any of the athiests here who answered! Its an honest and decent question, the answer has already been given. An athiest, doesn't believe in any gods- therefore, they do not worship any.

I am an atheist. I have no doubt that there isn't a god. And, I'll go even further by saying that if you gave me substantial proof that YOUR god (as there are thousands of deities in the world, which one's the true god?) existed, I'd actually NOT worship him and would rather go to hell. But, I do not believe in hell so I have nothing to worry about.
I do believe that SKIPPY is an idiot.

That's a paradoxical question. An atheist denies (strong atheist) or doubts (weak atheist) the existence of God. By definition, they do not believe in a God and logically, do not worship one.

My brother was an atheist in his 20's when he got to 40 at least acknowledges that there is a God.
