When most people refer to those who don't believe in "God," they mean a "personal God," (such as that which is described in the Torah, the Bible, and the Koran). In other words, a God that relates directly to people, giving them guidance, telling them what to do, deciding whether they'll go to Heaven or Hell, etc. I do not believe in a "personal God." However, that doesn't mean that I don't believe that some sort of an un-knowable intelligence created the Universe. Still, I recognize that I am an "atheist" from the typical Christian POV.
That much having been said, I am registered as a Libertarian. I often wind up voting for the Democratic candidates, however.
I am heterosexual, but I'm not anti-gay in the least.
I assume that you are testing out your assumptions about people, to see if this question verifies your preconceived notions? I think that's a very good idea. I hope that you get lots of answers.

I'm not gay, but I assume that about 10% of atheist may be, the same as in the general population.
I'm sure there are right-wing, homophobic atheists who share the same beliefs as you, and there are probably gay, non-atheist who are right wing like you.
I'm not sure if there is such a thing as a PROUD atheist, hopefully just better educated with better spelling and less judgemental than many so-called (U.S.) Christians, who should spend more time praying and not preying on others.

What if I'm an athiest and neither a democrat or gay? (and I am neither).
What's more why would being either a democrat or gay or even both be a bad thing?
Oh..and I'm reporting you because such a question sure sounds like hate mongering, which IS a violation of the terms of service.

I'm not an atheist, not a democrat, and not gay..... but I think this was kind of an ignorant question. Is practicing homosexuality any worse than any sin you or I have practiced? Yes, I believe it is a sin, but there are gay Christians and why single them out as if they are doing the unpardonable sin.

I'm a libertarian and straight. I tend to vote Republican, but Republicans have become a bunch of spendthrifts. Still they are a little better than Democrats on economic issues, who have never seen a tax they didn't like.
