I have hair like that and i use Garnier Frutics products, the shampoo, conditioner, mousse, curl shaping spray gel, and leave in conditioner. They really work for my hair and my hair was a mass of frizz and curls.
After you wash your hair, blot it dry with a towel and put the leave in conditioner in, this cuts the frizz down alot. Then out in a little of the mousse, not too much or your hair will get stiff. Then spray they curls with the curl shaping spray gel, not alot, or they will get stiff. Then let your hair AIR DRY!! DO NOT USE A BLOW DRYER!!!! Most people make that mistake and they end up with frizz. Let it air dry and don't mess with it while its drying.
I hope this all helps.
God Bless

John Fredias hair serum Frizz Ez is good but its pricey it goes from anywhere 8.00 to 11.00$ depending on where you get it and the bottle doesn't last long when you have long hair..well I found some stuff cheaper and to me it makes your hair feel less heavier than the frizz ez it is call Zero Frizz its a serum you will find it by frizz ez at wal mart and it is 4.99 a bottle!! great stuff! I am a white girl and I have natural curly hair so it will stay a frizz ball another trick you can use is buy shampoo for black girls and mix a little bit in with your shampoo and it will help alot. That is the best thing I have found so far...hope it helps!

i have curly hair as well and what i have found is that using smoothing shampoo and conditioner help my hair to be less frizzy....and i know that this sounds like overkill but i use gel, then i put some non volumizing curling mousse in it....it works awesome on my hair

My frizz comes from split ends. I started using Pantene restoratives shampoo and conditioner and it has worked wonders.
