No, I did not grow into the kind of person that I imagined or hoped to be. I am worse than the self-image I had as a child. As a child I was extremely smart, motivated, idealistic, and would fight to the death for the things I believed in. i am certainly not that girl anymore

I don't really remember how I planned to be like when I was younger. I don't think I planned at all. All I know is that I am still the same person. I still act the same way, and treat other people the same way as I did before. Of course, I have changed, but not greatly. I think I've changed in a good way and I'm a better person.

Well, when I was little I wanted to have blue hair, so I'm sort of glad that didn't come true. Other than that, I wanted to be either 1) an astronomer, 2) an artist, 3) a paleontologist, or 4) a cowgirl, and now I'm an artist (starving, in the figurative sense only), so I guess I'm not doing too badly so far...

I grew up in an atheist household, where everything was absolute CHAOS, drugs/alcohol. My self image was horrible. Than I drank and used drugs for years. Then one day I got sick and tired of being sick and tired and asked Jesus to help me. Now my life is full and I have a much better self image than I ever thought possible because now I know that God doesn't make junk. God Bless You.

I can answer that truthfully. Yes I am. I decided what I wanted to do when I was 14 years of age and with afew minor changes have lived my life the way I chose to live. I earned my way through life and appreciated everything twice as much as those who were given it on a silver platter and those who regret that they didn't get to the top rung on the ladder. I dreamed like anyone else of getting more then I deserved but at one point found that dreams just don't come true. You have to earn what you get and strive to get it.

actually, I am the person I thought I would be. I'm not perfect, by any means, but I am doing the job that I always wanted to do.
I'm a wife and mother.
