I definitely don't fear God because I really don't think he exists. I've just been told before that I'm a God fearing man by ladies who have never met me, so I was just wondering what was meant by it.
Oh and if you're wondering what I mean by ladies who have not met me that think of me this way, I mean those that I've met through Yahoo Personals and other such date and meet type of websites.

Oh I also forgot to mention that I think ladies call me God fearing man because of my first name, Isaiah >> the prophet from the Bible.
I have no objection on the name, I like it, I just don't like the fact that people automatically assume I'm into religion because of my name. >> My parents are religious, I'm NOT.

A God fearing man is one who obeys the commandments, laws, and statutes of the Lord God. Job is a perfect example of a God fearing man.
JOB 1:1
1) There Was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
eschew means: to abstain from: to avoid doing something on principle or as a matter of course.
And God in against evil, which means you must eschew evil or suffer the consequences( HELL).

I wondered that many times, especially as a kid in a Catholic school. Why should I be afraid of God if he loves me so much? Someone once explained that it is the fear of making God sad by not acting as if we love him or that we know he loves us. Kind of like disappointing our parents when they don't yell or punish us but just have that look on their faces and they say, quietly "We're very disappointed." That's the worst! So, a "God fearing man" would be a man who acts like he loves God and knows God loves him.

Someone who fears (respects the greatness of) God.
***A note to others***
I believe he means a God fearing man. OR...A man who fears God. Not that God fears us.

It means someone who applies this proverb to their everyday choices in life.
Proverbs 3:3 Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. 4 So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man. 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. 7 Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and turn away from evil. 8 It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones. 9 Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce; 10 then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine. 11 My son, do not despise the LORD's discipline or be weary of his reproof, 12 for the LORD reproves him whom he loves, as a father the son in whom he delights. 13 Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding, 14 for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold. 15 She is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her. 16 Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor.

If refering to a man with morals or christian values....it means that we have control on our selves because we will not do anything that would be against the morals or values of God almighty.
