Want me to name them?
Spanish
French
Italian
Portuguese
Catalan (Spain)
Vasco (Spain)
Rumanian

And the base is latin.
Romance languages are named like that because latin was the language spoken in Rome, when Rome conquered all the countries it did, it was easier to know the languages as "Romance" that is more or less "the one from Rome", though "romance" also has to do with love and other things

French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Romanian are the main ones. Catalan and Provençal can also be included. They're minority languages in Spain and France, respectively, and closely related to one another as well.

The main ones derive from Latin, due to influence of Romans having ruled the areas in which they are spoken: Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian (here Germanic influence changed Latin), and Rumanian.
