Not if you can't afford NEW or Resale prices, but you should always inspect it first. You might be bringing home a roach or flea infestation. I'd clean it before moving it into your home.

Maybe you can be the kind one and take it to Goodwill, if you don't want it.

I think that it's a win-win situation. The people who put it out there don't have to haul it away and they get the satisfaction of knowing that they're helping someone else out and the people who pick it up get a free gift. If someone is too snobbish to do something like that then they're the losers not the other people.

Not only is it ok to do that, you are actually doing them a favor. Sometimes people don't have a way to haul things off, and putting a sign on them for free is the perfect way to get rid of them. I have done that myself a time or two.

It's a win-win situation. Someone wants to get rid of the furniture so they don't have to haul it away and you get a new piece of furniture. They win, you win. I'm still in college and I appreciate anything free I can get!

Of course not. If you're down on money, how else would you furnish your place, furniture is so expensive. If you see an opportunity, take it!

There nothing wrong with that.
Some people throw away their furniture just because it's out of date. For me i will collect them if it's still useable. save money for paying the mortgage.

i aint proud! i got myself lots of good junk from off of trash cans and in alleys and out of dumpsters, Nice amplifiers and speakers , kitchen tables and chairs, if you can find a house where a woman kicks her boyfriend out, and then throws all of his stuff away, you can really score!
