Take him out to dinner at your favorite NICE restaurant, tell him how you feel about him, then have the waiter bring out his favorite dessert with "will you marry me?" written on it with icing - or if you can not write on it as it is not that kind of dessert, make a tiny sign glued onto a toothpick and give it to the waiter to add on top (either go to the restaurant ahead of time to arrange it or excuse yourself to use the restroom and pass it to the waiter at that time).

Keep it light and simple and have your "comeback" line ready. That way if he says no, it won't be awkward.

Just say, "Hey, Charles, or Charlie, or Chuck, or whatever you like to be called--you wanna get married?"

1. "Uh, OK."
"Well then, why the heck don't ya ask me, moron?"

2. "Yes, my dear, perhaps some day in the future."
"Great! I hope you can find someone then!"

3. "Am I on Girls Behaving Badly?"
"No, but you're fixin' to be!"

4. "No way, babe. We're having too much fun to stop now."
"You're right! It was fun!"

5. "Oh, yes! YES! Absolutely!"
"No, dunderhead, I mean to ME."

6. "Yes. I mean . . . Well, I was meaning to ask you, but I was . . . I . . . uh . . .Will you marry . . . uhm . . . I mean, should we . . . like, have a wedding and all that stuff . . . you mean . . . What was the question?"
"(sigh)"

7. "Hey, how's about them Yankees last night, huh?"
(slap)

Well First of all, Dont Ask him in public, You might embarass him cuz guys never get asked. they always do it. And maybe you should wait a little (How long have you been together if its nire than a couple years, THEN YOU NEED TO THROW SOM SERIOUSLY BIG HINTS AT HIM (like Honey, after we get married, are we gonna have kids? or something like that)
But get on your knees and Ask him just like a GUy would do a Woman

Its as simple as that.
And gewd luk wit dat proposal

well just wait for the right time and start off telling him hom much you love him and see how he reacts to that, if he gets curious, then don't tell or ask him anything but if he just says I love you too or is really listening to you then ask him. It should be too hard if you have been with him awhile and you know each other inside and out. Good luck and if the luck helps then congrats too !!!

you sure u want to do that. It is so rewarding when a man kneels down in front of the woman and pours his heart out and then pops the big question. throw hints at him and maybe he will ask you.

Why would you want to? Guess I'm old-fashioned that I want the man to do the asking ...I don't want him to feel like I put him on the spot........good luck though!

I'm old fashioned, I think a man should ask the wife, but I can adapt to new things, I think whatever you do, make it rememorable!
