Yes- but only to a point- let me explain with a quote "God only helps those who help themselves." That is a good start letting God into your life. At least you are asking for help and maybe even open to help by asking a question here. Depression and feeling dejected are unfortunately very common but most people do not show it. Some people figure a way out of it, lifting themselves up but others let it eat them up. Might I suggest that you get to the root of the problem instead of generalizations. You stated that life, people and work are making you feel this way. Okay- let's pick it apart-and attack one battle at a time and not a whole war. At work, what person or persons are causing you to feel this way or is it the kind of job you do or both? Next is people- what particular person or persons are causing you stress? Last is life-- what exact part or parts of it are causing you dejection now-- is it not reaching some specific goal as in being alone for an example or maybe not being as financially secure as you thought you would be? Addressing the specific issue, not grouping them together in groups, will make it easier to deal with one at a time. Nobody said you had to solve the meaning of life-- just solve what is bothering you about the specific item--that should not be too tough if it is causing you grief! Write them down on paper-I do this a lot! You will then have a list to work on. When you picked out the particular stresser, you then have a realistic sized item to confront on issues. The statement that you mentioned about leaving everything in the hands of God is not being realistic nor responsible and may lead you to disolution and frustration. The Good Books (I do not know what your religion is) are a guideline, an advice book not a magic wand. Prayer is great but not all are ever answered especially if you do not take responsibilty and control of your own life first. You need to pick out the particular things that are making you feel dejected and handle them one by one and soon you will find, with the guideance of God's Words- how you deal with those items will be different as well as how others may view you as well. Good luck with your search.

Yes absolutely. I can honestly say i'm in the same place. I lost my job in March, cant get another, as often as i send out my resume. I'm going to lose my apartment. Many other aspects of my life are upside down. There are many christians facing the most difficult times of thier lives. I've spoken with them and it seems to me like God is giving many of His children a place and opportunity to go deeper with Him. Things are going to happen in the future of this world and nation that christians must be prepared for. And what God is doing at this point in time is allowing our lives to become completely dependent on Him. Do not grow weary while doing good. Trust God always He is faithful.

I guess you should decide if you believe in God.

If you do, then how can you not trust God? If God is omnipotent, caring of humans then you have to trust God.

If you don't, then you are reaching for something else - not altogether bad, just different. You are reaching out to others.

Only you can answer 'is it right'. I gave everything to God when I had cancer. It was right for me. But it was hard. Good luck and 'may God bless'

Life does that to people sometimes. You just need to find motivation. If it's religion, love, friends & family, a hobby, find something that motivates you.

I have to be honest with you here though. The best way that I've found to be happy in life is to believe in myself not God.

You can only ask for Gods help for so long before you realize that YOU have to do something to help yourself.

I believe God is a myth.

Keep your eyes focused on Jesus He can do all things. When you put your burdens at the foot of the cross and as they say " let go and let God" amazing things can and will happen. The one thing you have to remember is that it happens in God's time not yours. Don't try to interfer with God's plan don't try to take back the burdens. He will handle things. He does not need any help. God bless you

Yes put your faith in God. If their is a job opening. Go, and get that job because God opened that job for you. If you have family that cares about you seek help from your family because God gave you that family. It's up to you to make a decision. God gives you these tools to work with. Now the queistion is are you going to us what God gave you?

That's a great place to put it! God is awesome and He'll take care of things for you! Just keep trusting in Him! Another thing that would help is if you could talk to someone about it... Someone that gives good advice, that you can trust! Other than that keep praying!

Go outside with two shovels.

Leave one for God to use and begin digging with the other shovel.

After about an hour, check to see which hole is deeper.

You should discover how to solve your problems when you see the result of relying on God or yourself.

This just proves that your god does not exist. If he "loves" you so much, why would be want to test you and make you feel emotional pain? Most parents love their children too, but they don't want them to feel ANY pain what so ever. It sounds like you got to start over in life, dude, and I wish you the best of luck.
