1 is the most important and 10 is the least important. This is for a little research study I am conducting for my own curiosity. Here are the characteristics:

Here goes:
1. Religion...because I want to groove and be within the same religious belief system,,,,deters fights later on with like faith
2. Looks- Although this should be the second number 1..it can't be but then again, you can't say hey...what do you believe in when you are looking at someone attractive.lol;p!
3. political views- Have mercy! This is important. you want to be fighting on the same team...it's not like different sports teams....raging liberals and staunch conservatives not a loving dinner conversation...personal experience.
4. Personality- You don't want someone that makes you think you would rather be alone or with your dog on a date. If you think that you would laugh more watching SNL rerun on Monday on the Comedy Channel than I would say no to a second date. And no to any future dates....Arghgh...dry sense of humor or arrogance..sucks! (Sense of Humor---about the same)
5. Intelligence- I think that you have to be as smart or smarter than the person you are going out with..there is nothing worse than being with someone that you have to explain everything to during dinner.
6. Sensitivity- Come on we are the Ladies and although we don't admit it..we need that in a guy.
7. Confidence- great attribute. I like it when I need backup or encouragement when I have to try something for the first time.
8. Money makes the world go around but I work, so I can make my own. I think that it is important to have drive...and be successful but having tons of money doesn't always guarantee everything. You might end up with money and a guy not into you at all.
9. Athleticism- Important when a guy needs guy time but I am not looking for someone to beat me in basketball, or other sports. I am looking for a partner not someone to kick my butt in sports. Guys have guys for that!
