She is spayed, so she isn't in heat. What could it be? (Besides stones). We were out at the farm all day today and it was very hot, she was running around a lot and is slightly overweight. Now that we're home we noticed some blood coming from her urinary area. Is it possible that that has something to do with it? We will take her to the vet, but does anyone know what it could be and what we can do to help her until we can get her in to see the vet?

It sounds like it could be urinary or bladder infection. Take you dog to a veterinary.

She may have got hot. IF, she act OK now then that good. Did she eat anything in the Field? Could be something on that. Then the last thing, it may be a False Period. True you had her spayed and she is, but, with this extra activity it may have caused her to "look" like she in heat, even though she can not get pregnant. I hope it nothing serious. IF, it stop by morning you may want to call the Vet and ask, he may tell you something and then again he may feel you do need to bring the Dog in for a check.

My dog was doing this once and it turned out to be a UTI (urinary tract infection). Take her to the vet (obviously) to be sure of what it is. The vet will probably want a urine sample, and this isn't really easy to get from a dog as they can get timid if you're around their back end while they are peeing. What I did with mine was to take her out on a leash and put a large ladle under her when she went to squat and then poured it into another container to take to the vet.

Yes take her to the vet, but you said you were going to. In the meantime, if it doesn't make you sick, and not I'm not a pervert. Look her over, check and see if she might have cut her self down there. Watch her when she is going potty, is it bleeding all the time or only then. Give her some cranberry juice to drink, in case she does have an infection, it won't hurt her, and that is what is recommended for humans, when we have one. If she will let you, wash her with some cool water, in case she just cut herself. Try some peroixde, to clean it up, if cut. What kind of dog is she? I have three doxie's. We got our female fixed, and she also gained weight.

Good luck with this, and please let us know, I would like to hear how she turned out. What it was, and to see if she is okay.

i have been down a similar highway with an growing old poodle. first aspect, shave or trim the hair on her ears very short. Ear complications change into continual yet air circulate extremely facilitates. Secondly get her body hair reduce short so conventional bathing isn't this kind of chore. Rinsing her with listerine can help with the smell yet you'll finally end up bathing her usually. continually be careful to both keep away from getting water in her ears or getting them thoroughly dry after a bath. Moisture in her ears is your enemy. i'd try genuinely a variety of fragrance relaxers - human beings won't be able to smell them yet they extremely look to assist animal pressure. you will get "panties" with liners so as that she will be in a position to't urinate on the carpet. None of it really is relaxing. The antibiotics she's on for the infections may result her skills to wrestle yeast infections this is per chance why she smells. Ear complications can smell besides. you could inspect a handmade feeding plan that could fee fewer money yet contain very much extra time. workout would likely help her pressure very much. to boot to bonding with you it is going to strengthen her self assurance and drained dogs are commonly purely straight forward a lot less complicated than annoyed dogs finished of potential. to boot - you will search out the advice of a holistic vet - the dogs may take advantage of accupuncture, Ttouch and that attitude would not be extra severe priced than what you're spending now. the base line, notwithstanding, is the known of her existence. it is a range in straight forward words you could make.

it is most likely from the kidneys....if she is not in pain, keep watch until am and then to the vet....this is not a good sign...could be a tumor. If she continues to actively bleed, I'd take her tonite. since she has been spayed, I assume for a while now, the bleeding from her vulva cannot be from the ovaries etc. good luck
