The only airline with free in-flight DirecTV at every seat is JetBlue (see link below). Frontier Airlines offers a more limited version of DirecTV service for $5 per flight (see second link). Otherwise, you're only going to find a video screen at your seat if you're flying on a Boeing 777, which is rare domestically (United - third link - does fly them, but only on a few select routes), or if you're flying Business Class or above. Last time I flew Southwest there wasn't even an in-flight movie, but most airlines offer in-flight entertainment, either in the form of audio channels or a single video offering shared by everyone. Bring your own headphones if you don't want to have to pay for the airline's.

Southwest does not have TV. You want a good fare, leather seats and TV? Fly Jetblue. I always take them.
