Don't put a slash between Muslim martyr and suicide bomber. For most Muslims, it is NOT synonymous. There are several types of martyrs in Islam: those that die out of sickness, those who die in accidents, the woman who dies in child-birth, those who die to protect their rights, those that die to protect themselves, those that die to protect their family, those that die to protect their faith, those that die to protect their possessions, and finally those that die in jihad bis saif (literally 'a struggle of the sword') in the path of God. Their reward is that they instantly go to Paradise in the highest level - al-Firdaus.
According to most Muslims, suicide bombers go to Hell.

if you mean what is going on in Palestine, just look at the situation. the people in Palestine have no weapons, but bombs that they made themselves, while the Israeli Jews are practically swimming in military armor. they run over a little girl with a tank for throwing pebbles at them. they whip parents and rape them in front of kids, they kill a parent's child forcing the parent to watch the murder. everyday, hundreds of Palestinians die and nobody makes as much commotion as when 2 Israelis die. i mean, i don't approve of suicide bombing, but what else could they do? besides, about the martyr thing, as long as they die in the cause of God and do not harm women, children, the old, or the sick, they can kill that person as long as it is in war time. they cant even harm palm trees. besides, only God knows the re.ward

Depends if the bomber is in a work to defeat "Satan"? But typically it is just a matter of a higher station in the heavens.
