I'm almost nine months pregnant and I taught my labrador to "pick it up!", meaning anything on the floor that I pointed to. Works great with laundry, dropped cans and waterbottles, shoes etc. She then sits and hands them to me.
THere are some great books at the library that have lots of cool tricks.

I taught my poodle to turn a light on and off, and I also taught him to jump onto my back. My sister taught her poodle to sneeze!

if you hold a treat above them and move your finger in fast moving circles there sure to stand up and twirl. (it worked with my jack russell)
