I'm going to sound like a bigger idiot than I actually in with this question, but alas.......

I can't get the font on here to change. Ok, I know how to go into Display properties and customize it from there, and I've done that. The only problem is that the fonts in the menus themselves don't change. I'm not sure the exact name, but, for example, when you open Internet Options in IE, the menu that comes up is in the unwanted font, including all the buttons. Every other font has been reset to the originals, but for some reason, I just can't get the menu ones to change.

Help?

I'm using WinXP SP2, and I've already manually changed the fonts in the display settings through the pull-down menu. There's no option in there, though, for the text inside the menu.

Look at the picture on this link to see what I mean...... http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/2971/untitled7rq.jpg

I figured it out. I had downloaded a registry-cleaning program, RegScrubXP, that had an option to change the system font. I had already uninstalled it, but got it back and changed everything back the way it was.

Thanks anyhow :)

Good program, that is, btw....

1. Right-click in an unused spot on the desktop & click on Properties.
2. Click the appearance tab
3. Scroll thru the Item list checking fonts as you scroll thru them... When you find the font you want to change... Change it and click Apply.
4. Exit out
