You may or may not get a good battery, though.
Go to http://www.cdw.com/homepage and get a new battery - I know, it's probably going to be over $100, but it's not going to be a battery scam, like some places are. So, if you keep the laptop price under $650 (which is easy), and get a new battery at CDW, you'll get a great machine for less than $800.
