The Holy Quran was revealed in Arabic but i think you're confusing Arabic with Urdu as both are quite similar.Actually Urdu originated by the combination of Arabic & Persian and it's a lot different.
All the Muslims try to learn Arabic so that they may read the Quran & if they can't then any tranlation is ok. But reading the Quran in any other lang. besides Arabic can't compensate.

Alhamdulillah (All Praise be to Allah), there are lots of translations for non-Arab speakers/readers nowadays. I think the Holy Qur'an has been translated into all the major languages and then a lot of minor ones, too. For a good translation, you can always type in a search into Yahoo or Google or any search engine. Just make sure it's authentic, and of course, the translation is NOT like the actual Arabic - for Arabic is a deep language with many meanings for each word, and no other language compares. :)

The Koran is not in Urdu, it's in Arabic. I'm not Muslim myself, but I've taken 7th Grade History 8 years before. AND I know what's Arabic and what's not. I speak, read, and write it.

it's not necessary for them to learn urdu to read Qur'an. If they learn to reade Arabic then that's good enough to read the Qur'an.
