I cant speak for all Christians, but for myself personally, being a Christian does not always make me happy. Actually reading your question made me feel quit sad. But I am always eternally grateful that Jesus has taught me to forgive.

You know, why is this an important point to you? That's just a question for yourself.
I was an atheist for sometime, because a lot books convinced me of historical things. I never felt compelled to prove believer to not believe, and since then I'm more in the middle ground ie I'm not an atheist or a believer; but I do read Jesus's words among many other spirtual guides, and I do pray.
I feel more content in a sense that I'm not fighting against something and to some sense I think everyone needs a spirtuality, even if it's not Christian/Jewish/Muslim/Hindu based. Fundamentally we CAN put a lot of effort in our life to be happy, but there are times each individual needs faith in existence and their own peace of mind. I figure if a person thinks religion helps them do that (and they're peaceful about it), than the more power to them.
By the way:
Man's a subjective being, and saying what is or isn't happiness is silly. It's like listen to someone define love. I'd much rather stick to dictionary definitions and objective measurements ie is the person marked with pleasure (yes or no?). Going into subjectivity you end-up in your own mind made interpetations.

How do you know any of these things aren't true?
Answers to your specific questions:
#1 - Yes
#2 - Yes (Except most Christians don't do terrible things just because they can)
#3 - Yes. God keeping us safe doesn't mean that bad things don't happen, but it means that he's with us to get through them, and that we aren't going to hell.
#4 - The devil can touch us, so to speak. He just can't capture us.
#5 - Yes.
I have to ask you this one question: Can you open and close your hand with a single thought, do with your brain what a hundred tons of machinery cannot, and share love with the people around you, and still believe that there wasn't an intelligent being (a God) that designed it all? If we couldn't design a human being, than didn't it have to come from some one or something smarter than me or you?
Ponder that; it's all I ask.

Yes he may be nut case to you, but you will find out later - Just a small note for you John 3:16 For God so love the World that HE gave His only begotten Son that who may ever believeth in Him should not perish but have EVERLASTING Life. Whether you like it or not GOD LOVES YOU.
That is the very reason why He died for you and me. He will surely forgive your sin no matter how filthy it may be, when you confess your sin it shall surely be forgiven. I John 1:9
Yes! Yes! in Hebrew 13: 5 " I will never leave you nor forsake you" and that can also apply to you if you only believe in Christ Jesus.
Yes the devil cant touch me coz there will be angels surrounding me. Just try it out and you will see.
Better life starts from here, you will have that inner peace, and live an honest life and ofcourse you will have eternal life after this life.
I DONT BELIEVE ITS A BUNCH OF LIES BUT FACTS OF LIFE

Being a christian doesnt make me happy. Being a christian meams i'm forgiven, which is available to anyone who seeks it. Christianity isnt methodology for a happy buzz the rest of ones life. It's a choice to live a lifestyle that glorify's the God who created us. Making choices to live right isnt easy. The road is often difficult and true christians dont "feel superior" or live life doing "terrible things" we are safe from the devil, and we are promised eternal life in heaven. True christianity is first humble, second non-judgemental, pure and righteous, Jesus did die so i wouldnt spend eternity in hell. And believing in these truths; what you call lies, does give me a life that includes joy.

I'm going to tell you exactly what makes me happy. My sisters good days, hugs from my mother, seeing my neice smile, sitting with Joseph on the bus, watching movies with my friends, playing the viola well, dancing and not thinking of what I'm doing wrong, talking to my brother, laughing, finishing a ood book, and crying it all out.
The things that make me happy have nothing to do with being a Christian. They have to do with being a person. My completely insane love for my sister is probably the cause of most of the joy for my life, and she's agnostic.
If Christians go to heaven after doing terrible things I'll be disgusted. If wonderful agnostics, like my sis, and atheists don't go to heaven I'll be disgusted. My beliefs aren't cannon, but they're how I want it to be. For me, when you die, if you were good, and you think that is the end, that's it. If you think you get to have an awesome party, that's what's going to happen. But if you are Stalin? Oh yeah, you seriously burn in hell.
Most ppl I know would say I'm a good person. So when I die, I'll probably get to go to an awesome dance party, see all the ppl I love that died, and do ballet and drink frappacinos until I shout "No more!"
Things that make the average person happy make me happy. Oh yeah, and my sissy.

May God bless your heart,
I think the true faith comes to your heart and life through the experience of the love of the Lord Jesus Christ... His love is so powerful and everlasting, He never fails...This is the one big reason we Christians are basically happy even when going Thur a lot in life...On the other hand, the devil will use you and damage you till you can hardly get up on your feet and he won't even consider to take you to a clinic for the recovery... Open up the Bible, you will learn more for your question ...!

wow we could ask you why being an athiest makes u happy?
am a Christian and it makes me happy cause am loved accepted by the one that matters most. When I hated and cursed God He still loved me.
I have good days and bad days we all do if we r honest but I know what it's like to have joy in the midst of sorrow and Gods perfect peace when chaos reigns and it's your choice not to believe now but there is coming a day when all knees will bow every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
will be praying for u

1. Because I get to experience incredible, unconditional love like no other. I am not 'happy' 100% of the time. I have moods, frustrations, and feel things just like everyone else. I'm not on some 'happy' buz, but I am at PEACE more than I was before I gave myself up for Him. I find kindness and compassion more readily available to me to give to others. I find I want to make others happy and spend my time doing things for others. Because He loves me so much, I want to love others as much.
2. Because He loved me so much he gave his life for me - I owe Him everything. I hate the fact that I have sinned and participated in His suffering. (Hence the not happy 100% of the time)
3. No, it's because I get to go to heaven because I've been forgiven.
4. Absolutely, I know who's got my back.
5. Only if I let him
6. Yes - I dream of someday going to heaven to be with Jesus in His Glory.
I feel sad that you have so much animosity for those that believe. I will pray for you, and those like you, tonight - as I do each night.
I'm not sure who said this, but..."I'd rather live as though there is God and find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't God and find out there IS." (I believe 100% that there is :)

Gees! your a bigger nut case than the fundimentalist Christians.
Lighten up a bit if they want to believe these things what do you care. Sound like your scared of something. Better think about why you are feeling so hostile. Its not good for you to cary that much negativity around with you. Love and blessings Don
